Katie Geis

Katie opened Pilates For Life in New Bremen in July of 2018. She has over 17 years' experience as a PTA and began incorporating Pilates into her running and weightlifting routine years ago. Katie enjoys helping others gain strength and mobility and credits Pilates to her return to activity after each pregnancy.

In 2016 she completed her STOTT PILATES REHAB training in Toronto, Canada. Being the only certified REHAB instructor in Ohio, she wanted to share her knowledge with others, so she created the "Pilates For Life OHIO Mat - Reformer - Tower" training in October of 2021. This was created to train 2 local individuals but was quickly picked up by a local PT and other professionals (for future training sessions) who have the desire to learn more about Pilates.

Katie and her husband Greg live in Botkins with their four children. She teaches a variety of hours in each location but has a lifetime dream to spread the word and practice Pilates. The benefits and outcomes are unbelievable. If you wonder if it can help you, just ask!

She has 4 years of PTA experience and has a passion and love for helping others. Shelbie is a firm believer that movement is medicine so when she heard of Pilates, she wanted to utilize it as a tool to get people back to doing what they love without pain or limitation.

Seeing patients of all ages with pain that could've been prevented made her realize the importance of staying healthy physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Shelbie grew up in McCartyville and now lives in St. Henry with her husband, Aaron, and daughter, Ivy, on a dairy farm. She primarily teaches Monday, Wednesday and rotating Saturdays in the New Bremen location.

After hearing her mother go on about the immediate results she felt with Pilates, Sarah soon joined her. Shortly after, she wanted to begin the training herself so she could teach others and share the benefits of Pilates. Sarah felt like it decreased her stiffness, enhanced her performance in volleyball and overall made her feel stronger.

Sarah will be teaching a variety of hours in the Botkins location

Lisa March

Lisa completed Katie’s “Pilates For Life OHIO Mat – Reformer – Tower” training in the summer of 2022.

In 2010, Lisa received her degree in Athletic Training from the University of Toledo.  She has a passion for working with athletes to return to activity following injury.  Lisa also received a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy in 2013.  Occupational Therapy has allowed Lisa to have a more client centered approach to assist clients in regaining function in daily life.  Throughout Lisa’s ten years of therapy experience, she found the importance of finding the root cause of injury and illness.  A large focus of her rehab sessions included improving the core strength and coordinating breathing with functional body movements.

Pilates allows Lisa to combine her Athletic Training and Occupational Therapy experience to help clients improve function during daily activities and achieve their desired level of performance.  Lisa loves that Pilates can improve performance for individuals in all stages of life.  She has firsthand experience of Pilates improving her performance on the golf course and improving her function following pregnancy.

Lisa lives in Shelby County with her husband and two children.

She is excited for the opportunity to guide individuals on their journey towards a deeper appreciation for movement and wellness.

Greg Geis

Without Greg the business end of things would not run smoothly at all. He is the brains behind everything besides the actual teaching of Pilates! Greg is also the mechanic for our Reformers and the builder to all the things Katie decides the studio needs.

Revamping old things is something he enjoys and in 2022 the Botkins studio relocated to a new space because of his hard work and dedication to our Pilates business.
