Katie opened Pilates For Life in New Bremen in July of 2018. With over 17 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), she began integrating Pilates into her own fitness routine—particularly alongside running and weightlifting—years before opening the studio. She credits Pilates for helping her safely and effectively return to activity after each of her pregnancies.
In 2016, Katie completed her STOTT PILATES® Rehab training in Toronto, Canada. As the only certified Rehab instructor in Ohio, she felt a strong calling to share this specialized knowledge with others. In October of 2021, she launched the Pilates For Life OHIO: Mat – Reformer – Tower training program. Originally developed to train two local individuals, it quickly caught the attention of other professionals, including physical therapists, looking to deepen their understanding of Pilates for future training sessions.
Katie and her husband, Greg, live in Botkins with their four children. She currently teaches classes at both studio locations and continues to pursue her lifelong mission: to share the benefits of Pilates with as many people as possible.
The results speak for themselves—Pilates can truly transform how you move and feel. If you’re wondering whether it could help you, just ask. Katie is always happy to guide you on your journey.

Greg is also the mechanic for our Reformers and the builder of all the things Katie decides the studio needs. Revamping old items is something he enjoys, and in 2022, the Botkins studio was able to relocate to a new space thanks to his hard work and dedication to our Pilates business.
